Alkagesta Joins Angola Oil & Gas Conference 2026 in Luanda

Alkagesta took part in the Angola Oil & Gas Conference & Exhibition in Luanda on 9 and 10 September 2026, represented by Rustam Mirzoev of the company's business development function.

The event was organised by Energy Capital & Power, an Africa-focused investment platform that works across the energy value chain from oil and gas exploration through to renewable power, with the aim of drawing investment and collaboration into African and international energy markets.

Sessions covered upstream developments and investment opportunities, local content requirements, gas-to-power projects, technology adoption and the wider evolution of Angola's energy landscape as the country builds its standing as a leading African energy hub.

Alkagesta said its representative used the programme to engage directly with government representatives, investors and other industry participants over the two days.

The company frames its attendance as part of continued engagement with African energy markets and a search for commercial openings across commodity trading, energy logistics and supply chains in regions of growing strategic weight.
