We write for professional readers — traders, brokers, shipowners, operators, analysts and executives — who need context rather than a rolling news feed. Our default format is analysis with a named byline, published under a small set of clearly defined themes.

How we work

Every story identifies its source. Where a piece is based on reporting published elsewhere, we say so and link to it. Where content is commercially supported through a partnership, it is labelled as such and kept visually and editorially distinct from independent coverage.

We do not publish allegations, rumour or unverified claims, and we do not rewrite negative stories into positive ones. Material we cannot sufficiently attribute is not published.
